Yakuza

Yakuza (2005), directed by Takashi Miike, is a crime drama based on the first Yakuza game. After serving ten years in prison for a murder he didn’t commit, Kazuma Kiryu is released into a Tokyo controlled by rival yakuza clans. Drawn back into the underworld, he must protect an orphaned girl tied to stolen money and confront betrayal, loyalty, and the violent code of the yakuza.
